I got this almost a year ago, use it only on my home wireless network, and have had no real problems. A few minor issues were resolved by googling, reading the forums at [...], and just getting reacquainted with my router. From others’ experiences, I guess I’m lucky not to need Samsung support.

Basically the worst things about this product is the speakers which is underneath the computer itself. Without headphones it at best can give you an impression of what going on but nothing more than barely getting by. I don’t mind using headphones but have found a few applications I’d rather not like when multiple people are needing to listen.

I bought this to have something on the go that can last a long time and it does that. I did have problems trying to get online, but function F1 fixed that right up for me. Besides that getting used to the smaller keyboard takes all of an hour or so. As for the speed, its quick enough. Just wondering if upgrading the speed will be worth it on this little guy. Long story short, it looks good, the case is nice and it came quick. Thanks.

A year ago I purchased a Compaq laptop for home use, thinking that it would also be portable if need be. Well, laptops can be carried around but they are also a bit heavy. For my birthday this year, after researching netbooks, I purchased a Lenovo Ideapad S10 from Amazon along with a neoprene carry case (with handles) and 2gb memory. With the carry case the netbook is about the same size and weight as a small purse! I don’t play games or download lots of photos or videos, so this netbook with an upgrade of memory is perfect for my needs. After doing additional research, I’ve acquired an SSD to replace the hard drive and a SanDisk 8gb memory card for back up, etc. Eventually I’ll load my Microsoft Home & Student 2007 Suite so that the netbook will have the same data and word processing capabilities as my laptop. The Lenovo hooked up right away with Sprint broadband, too. So far, so good — very pleased with my purchase and with Amazon’s great service!

” I have had my Wind u123 about 2 weeks and i’m very pleased with it.One of the reasons for buying this one was the RED color,love it.I get over 4+ hours in regular mode.I would give it 5 stars but for the lousy sound.I have an Asus 900HA with equally bad sound,I suspect they are all that way.The 10.1 screen is just about right.The Asus 8.9 is a bit small.I upgraded to 2GB RAM right away,take warning there is a case screw UNDER the Warranty Void sticker.Since I hunt and peck can’t express an opinion about the keyboard.All in all it’s a fine little netbook.Oh yeah,BEWARE of Face Recognition program,I screwed it up setting it up and THEN COULDN’T LOG ON!
