Samsung N110-12PBK 10.1-inch Netbook Black - 6-cell battery (9.5 hours)
Hard to believe, but I like almost as much as my $ 3000 Sony Carbon Fiber TT. I bought it as an 'extra' to bridge the gap between my work laptop and my little Sony portable series P. Though not as beautiful as it is, is not Ugly Betty. The Samsung has a compact nice, but usable portable format, a great battery life and a fantastic keyboard …. and you can not beat the price.
Most other reviews I've read is quite in line. Not much to complain, so I reduced to nitpicking over UNI 'trackpad button'. It's a bit 'on the small side and curved in a way that I fail to keep, unless I'm down to' convert 'myself. Some have mentioned the glare of the screen, and even though I suspect that there might be a problem, I just found it worth crying about.
The only fault I found others who had nothing to do with Samsung, in itself, but rather that Amazon dropped the price $ 24 for a couple of days after I bought … but seriously, if that's all I can find to complain, must be good. In fact, I can use it as an excuse to buy another, so I have an extra adapter.
If you're in the market for a netbook, but not tolerate the usual compromises netbook, I highly recommend getting this little boy. It is almost as good as my Sony TT, and much more practical for my Sony P only a fraction of the price.
