Can not connect to WLAN in my house. No problem with other devices.
studied and found many threads that indicates the hardware is crap.
this is what I get to order from Amazon.com. If I bought at Best Buy, I could go and have a useful device tomorrow. Now my wife's birthday present is worse than a paperweight. There is an albatross $ 350. I want to waste more hours trying to resolve this problem, so the savings will be worth it. Find another product and you save the trouble.

I just installed this baby 2GB of RAM and Windows 7 and runs smooth and quite. Very nice notebook, battery life is excellent. I have several products of Samsung, and have never been disappointed.

yeah, no speakers, only "Headphone" small "speakers".
Very low volume and bass absolutely no problem, even if … No, because I put it in my stereo system and the way I still use the headphones.

I love my Asus to 35,000 feet and at airports. Battery until promised (for 7 to 9 hours). I can see the entire flight basic TiVo (TIVO recording quality is OK Go). It fits comfortably on the tray of food, even with the seat in front of me again, as it goes. Boots very quickly and closing fast. I took two small screws at the base of the PC and easily replace the factory installed 1 GB of RAM to 2 GB and replaced the 160 GB hard drive, 500 GB SATA hard drive. The only problem I found is that the volume with the Asus produces is very low, so the headphones or earplugs to be very good - you do not hear anything with headphones at low cost.

first of all, i didn’t purchase this computer on-line. I’m just going to review the product itself. This netbook is not a replacement for a laptop. It only has 1G so it’s perfect for writing papers, doing research and surfing the web. It’s small and slim and allows me to take it anywhere. I can access the internet easily anywhere that has wifi. So far, no problems. When purchased at a store instead of on-line you get an in store warr along with the manufacture warr. so i do recommend going to a store and purchasing it.

Absolutely love this netbook. Immediately upgraded to 2 GB of RAM, and was impressed by the speed and battery life. I bought it for several months of international traffic was light, had long battery life, and I would do with Skype family and friends from afar (and watch movies on long flights, train and bus). They have done all these things very well. Know that when companies report the weight of the Netbook, but I feel netbook, no power cord, which probably added another book due to the converter and cables of great thickness. If you're traveling, you have to carry around too, so just be prepared.
